Crystalens
The FDA approved the CrystalLens accommodative intraocular lens on November 15, 2003. Our center has been awaiting the approval of this lens which helps us correct the vision of one group of people whose eyes are beyond the range of lasik.
The CrystalLens helps those who are want to get rid of the need for bifocals and whose eyeglass prescription is beyond the range of lasik. The lens actually moves minutely back and forth within the eye as a result of the action of the eye’s focusing muscles.
